Professional Teachers of Yellow River Conservancy Technical Institute Went to Germany for Advanced Study and Training

From November 25 to December 8, nine professional teachers of YRCTI was selected for advanced study and training at Eckert Schools International in Germany, aiming to learn from the development experience of German vocational education under the background of Industry 4.0, update teachers' teaching concepts, improve their international teaching ability, so as to effectively improve the training level of international talents in the mechanical and electrical professional groups of YRCTI, and lay the foundation for cultivating more technical and technical talents with international vision.

Visit to enterprises

Eckert Schools International provided all YRCTI teachers with classroom learning, exchange, discussion and enterprise research in Siemens, BMW and other enterprises. Taking mechanical and electrical vocational education as an example, our teachers were offered the chance to deeply study Germany vocational education including the concept, system and management mode and action-oriented teaching methods, IHK vocational certification system and assessment methods of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, enterprises' vocational training mode and method, the development and technical characteristics of German Industry 4.0, and changes in the training model of technical and skilled talents in German vocational colleges and enterprises in the era of industry 4.0, etc. They also had a heated discussion on and thorough thought of the unity of German vocational education standards, the close cooperation of industry associations, enterprises and schools, and the cultivation of students' autonomous learning ability.

After the study, Mr. Zimmermann, President of Eckert Schools International, awarded Certificates of Completion to all our teachers. The trainees said that they would sum up what they'd learned and share them with other teachers, so as to explore the possible future of YRCTI’s relevant majors in the era of industry 4.0, reform teaching methods, and improve the level of education and talent training.
