At the invitation of South Ural State University of Russia, Yang Shiheng, vice president of YRCTI, Li Jibin, director of Liaison and Cooperation Department, Tao Yongxia, president of School of Water Conservancy and Engineering, and Zheng Jin, vice president of School of International Education, visited the University from November 5 to 9. This visit aimed at promoting the connection of the courses of the two universities' cooperative majors, understand the study and living conditions of YRCTI's international students in Russia, and explore cooperation intentions in other fields.

Mr. Alexander Shestakov, President of South Ural State University, Vice President Olega Yalehko and Liudmila Lapina, Director of Foreign Affairs welcomed the arrival of YRCTI’s delegation. In a friendly atmosphere, the two sides conducted further consultations on educational cooperation between YRCTI and South Ural State University, establishing a long-term cooperation and exchange mechanism, and strengthening future cooperation in multiple fields, and conducted in-depth exchanges on curriculum setting, educational system, language preparatory classes and other curriculum connection. When visiting YRCTI's students studying in Russia, Yang Shiheng encouraged them to have lofty aspirations and ideals. They should not only complete their undergraduate studies, but also get a master and doctoral degree to enhance their abilities, contribute to the society and serve the motherland.

This visit further deepened the educational cooperation between South Ural State University and YRCTI, promoted the matchmaking of cooperative programs and courses, and reached the preliminary intention of setting up Pushkin college in YRCTI.
